Congratulations to Ella Bartholomew, Patrick Conners, Dilan Pinzon and Alex Tsiopelas on being selected to represent HTRSA and HSC as part of the Philadelphia Ball Crew for the 6 World Cup matches that will be held at Lincoln Financial Field, known this summer as Philadelphia Stadium! You may have seen these athletes around the complex; Ella (Hamilton West) is a referee, played for the Banshees and works in the concession stand. Patrick (Steinert) is a referee, played for the Dragons and is a Youth Coach for Firestorm. Both Alex (Notre Dame) and Dilan (Trenton Central) play for the Predators.
As part of their preparation, they recently gathered in Atlanta at the newly opened Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center, where they had the opportunity to meet and train alongside ball crew members from the 13 other host cities that will be welcoming matches this summer. What an incredible experience to connect with fellow participants from across the country ahead of one of the world’s biggest sporting events!
We are especially proud to share that Patrick and Ella have been chosen to be captains of the girls and boys teams — an outstanding honor that reflects their leadership, commitment, and passion for the game.
Being chosen for this opportunity is a testament to the hard work and dedication shown by all four participants. We are proud to see our players representing our clubs on the international stage and know they will do an outstanding job.
